This cashew cream topping is smooth & silky; it is the perfect accent for tacos, nachos, mashed potatoes, & whatever else ones heart desires. It is a fun recipe to be creative with! The good thing about the ingredients are that they are very healthy, & you know exactly what is going into the final product. Although it only tastes slightly similar to sour cream, it is a great healthy dupe!
I must say that I did not create this recipe – I have modified it. These ingredients are the best combination I have found for this recipe. I have seen this on many other blogs titled as, “Cashew Sour Cream”. Although many blogs claim that this tastes like sour cream, I must say that although having a similar texture, the taste is different. With this said, I do think that it is extremely delicious in its own way, & it accents the same types of foods that sour cream does.
Hope you enjoy!
